By September, summer is coming to an end and the air is starting to cool. At the same time, there are so many beautiful flowers that can be found. September is home to two separate flowers, The Aster and The Morning Glory.
Aster flowers are symbols of powerful love. They have deep positive symbolism and, according to folklore, they were once burned in order to ward off snakes. Asters have a deep purple color and are used to add a splash of color to late summer nights. A popular feature of early fall landscapes, they require minimal care.
The Morning Glory is the other September flower. These are straightforward symbols used to signify affection. Anyone who rises early might be able to watch the blooms of the Morning Glory open, hence the name. Later in the day, these flowers end up curling shut. This is where the name comes from. These flowers feature sharp pink, purple, and blue colors.
